‘Fake Taxi’ owner lists taxi for £1,200 after saying it ‘serves its purpose’

A ‘fake taxi’ OWNER has put his taxi up for sale for just £1,200 after saying he ‘has achieved his goal’.

Lisa Pethick from gunnislakeCornwall, listed the Hackney Custom Black Cab for sale on Facebook Marketplace last week.

The images show the taxi with the words Fake Taxi emblazoned on the side in the same color and font used in the adult films.

The cabin for sale.

The “Fake Taxi” brand is known for appearing in pornographic films where a taxi driver stops to pick up customers who then pay for their ride in an alternative way.

Saleswoman Lisa said her family bought the taxi to prepare for a summer ball, claiming it was the ‘talk of the evening’.

They also used it for personal purposes as a family car.

Amused social media users left jokes about the odd listing – with some saying potential buyers definitely couldn’t use it for the school run.

The listing read: “London Taxi LTI ‘Fake Taxi’ livery.

“Transit 2.4 turbo diesel engine. 200,000 miles.

“Had a complete repaint in metallic black in October 2021.

“With a working taxi light and meter.

“Also comes with the disabled access ramp.

“The interior speakers/lights etc. all operate from the rear and from the forward console.

“We bought this to apply for the summer prom, so it served its purpose, and it was the talking point of the evening.

“We also used it as a general family car.

“Private sale: £1,200 only.

“Or enough interest, I can draw it.”

The post garnered over 250 comments, over 200 shares and over 150 likes.

“Fake Taxi is upping its game.”

The Fake Taxi website has become cult since its inception in 2013.

All videos follow a similar principle, starting with a conversation between the driver and a passenger.

The driver, male or female, often asks for sexual favors in exchange for a free taxi ride.

These favors then take place in the back of the taxi.
