Gardai sized a driver’s vehicle offering a high pressure washing service to residents of County Clare on Saturday.
Shannon’s officers came across a vehicle with a trailer full of equipment.
The occupants reportedly offered a “high pressure washing service” to residents of the region.
However, during the inspection, Gardai said the trailer had a number of defects including damaged tires and the vehicle did not have the right insurance for business purposes.
As a result, officers seized the car.
A spokesperson said: âShannon Gardaà came across this vehicle, the occupants were providing a high pressure washing service to the residents.
âThe trailer had a number of defects and the driver’s insurance did not cover the use of the vehicle for business purposes.
